Celebrating Graduation Season and What Comes Next

As graduation season approaches, JAG-NM is excited to celebrate students across the state who are preparing to complete the school year and take their next steps.
For many young people, this season is about more than earning a diploma. It is about building confidence, making decisions about their own future, and identifying the pathway that fits their goals. Some students are preparing to enter employment or are already working. Others are exploring certifications, apprenticeship training, college, or other postsecondary options.
JAG-NM Specialists help youth prepare for these transitions by supporting next-step planning, career exploration, employability skills, and connections to resources that can help remove barriers. In the OOS program, participants who entered without a high school diploma or GED/HSE are also making progress, with several reconnecting to school or completing their GED/HSE and moving toward employment or continued education.
Graduation is a milestone worth celebrating, and JAG-NM’s work continues as youth move from school into employment, education, training, and life beyond graduation.
