The purpose of the NM Career Association (NMCA) is to help members explore career pathways, assess the opportunities and suitability of pursuing further education, and connect with professionals in their chosen fields. Functioning as a student government, NMCA also equips members with leadership skills and prepares them for active civic engagement beyond their educational journey. Through this dual focus, members develop essential knowledge and skills, secure employment, and demonstrate their ability to enter and advance within the workforce.

The NMCA is modeled after and works within the JAG National Career Association
