Job Title: Administrator (Contract Position)
Location: Remote
Compensation: $20–$25/hour, DOE
Hours: 20 hours/month (contract)

Position Overview:
JAG-NM is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrator to support our statewide operations. This part-time, contract position plays a key behind-the-scenes role in keeping our organization organized, responsive, and ready to support students and stakeholders. The Administrator will coordinate travel and logistics for conferences, support board meetings, respond to general inquiries, and manage organizational records.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Travel & Event Coordination: Arrange flights, hotels, ground transportation, and vendor services for staff and students attending in-state and out-of-state conferences and events.

Board Support: Send meeting agendas, take and distribute minutes, and manage follow-up correspondence.
-
Communications: Respond to general inquiries and send thank-you notes and correspondence to donors and partners.
-
Records Management: Maintain detailed physical and digital records, including contracts, receipts, and meeting documentation.

Administrative Support: Provide light administrative support to leadership as needed.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience in administrative or executive support roles.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Comfort working independently and managing multiple tasks.
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
-
Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and Zoom.

Must have access to a personal computer and cell phone.

Contract Length: 9 Month
Salary: $50,566.00 to $86,382.00
Purpose: Manage and supervise the implementation of the “Alternative education program” program as an instructor, facilitator and community liaison.
Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Education or equivalent;

A Valid NM Teacher’s License or eligible to obtain one;
-
Experience supervising students or children;Teaching experience preferred;
-
Verifiable demonstrated progressive leadership experience; Computer experience with knowledge in word processing, spread sheets,power point presentations etc.;

Strong oral and written communication skills;
-
Ability to build effective relationships with the business community,parents, students and general public;

Must have a valid driver license.
Essential Duties:

Guide students through their educational programs.

Planning lesson plans, classroom instruction and monitors the progress of students;

Mentors students toward completing their high school diploma and securingemployment;

Assesses students to determine the adequacy of the curricula and progress of thestudents.

Promotes professional behavior of students for their achievement in a businesssetting;

Evaluates the effectiveness of the programs, material and equipment and makeschanges to better meet the students goals;

Meets with area businesses and youth employment organizations to establishemployment opportunities;

Coordinates with local service providers regarding employment and trainingopportunities;
-
Tracks (via computer) participants served, services delivered and performanceevaluation;

Provides job placement and job coaching services throughout the summer;

Facilitates student leadership development through clubs and service learning;

Provides follow-up services to students enrolled in the program beyond theirgraduation.

Participates in professional development opportunities provided by Public EducationDepartment and Jobs for America’s Graduate.
