Initiation & Installation Ceremonies

JAG-NM youth are welcomed into their local Career Association chapter, and newly elected officers are formally installed during a student-led celebration of leadership and commitment.

Held every fall at each chapter throughout New Mexico.

Annual JAG Events

Student Leadership Academy

JAG-NM youth from across the state build leadership skills, connect with peers, and learn from employers and community leaders.

National Student Leadership Academy

Selected Career Association officers participate in advanced leadership development, civic engagement, and advocacy experiences in Washington, D.C.

JAG Day at the Legislature

Students visit the New Mexico State Capitol to explore state government, meet policymakers, and strengthen their civic leadership skills.

Career Development Conference

Students demonstrate their leadership, employability, and career readiness skills through statewide competitions evaluated by professionals and community volunteers.

National Career Development Conference

Qualifying students represent New Mexico in national competitions, leadership activities, career exploration, and networking opportunities.
